Luminous Coffee began as a vision to elevate the coffee experience by breaking industry norms and pushing boundaries. Founded and Operated by us Lexus Quirante and Mason Salisbury, we believed from the start that coffee could be so much more—something that constantly evolves with innovation and passion. With years of industry experience under our belts, we decided to do things differently. Our approach focuses on high-quality, small-batch coffees released through limited drops. This allows us to focus on every detail, from sourcing exceptional beans to the way we roast, package, and deliver.

One of our core beliefs is in sustainability. We’re committed to building direct relationships with farmers and producers, buying green beans directly from them to share their stories alongside ours. Each coffee release is a reflection of this relationship—a bridge between the people behind the beans and the community that enjoys them. We value transparency in everything we do, from sourcing to roasting to packaging, and we believe that the same care should go into both what’s inside and outside the box.

The journey of Luminous Coffee is a story about relationships, not just with coffee, but with everyone involved—from producers and farmers to you, the Lumi's. Being a small, independent business allows us to move freely, explore new ideas, and push the boundaries of what coffee can be. For the past five years, we have operated as a Dropstore: we are committed to selling our hyper-focused coffees only one day a week, every Friday, for a 24-hour period. This approach keeps each coffee release fresh, exclusive, and focused on delivering the most detailed experience for our Lumi's,

The only way to purchase from us is during this Friday window, and if you're signed up as a Lumi (via email or text), you'll receive early access at 11 a.m. PST. After that, the Dropstore opens to everyone at 1 p.m. PST.

Once the store closes on Saturday at 1 p.m. PST, all orders are prepped and shipped Monday am. This model allows us to focus entirely on quality over quantity, ensuring that every Dropstore is a unique experience and part of our mission to “ALWAYS BE EXTRA.”
